We are located 15 minutes from Birmingham City Centre in Harborne and readily accessible by public transport. (Click on “Location” page link above.)

The Halls are attached to St Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in the Harbone area of Birmingham and exists to foster the spiritual and social life and well-being of the Parish. We also want to embrace the local community and we therefore offer our facilities for regular and one-off events to external users.

The Christian ethos of the Halls means that we welcome all visitors of any faith or none who will respect our Christian outlook.

The Halls are run mainly by volunteers, on the basis that those who use them will leave the place as they found it, ready for the next group to use in their turn. This means that you will be expected to clean and tidy up after you have finished your event..

There are two large halls, each with its own kitchen and toilet facilities. The Main Hall – slightly the larger of the two – has a wooden dance floor and is suitable for a range of events, parties and functions.  The smaller Youth Hall is more suitable for classes and children’s parties. It is also possible to open up the doors between the two halls to provide a single integrated space, accommodating up to 250 people in total.

In consideration of our residential neighbours, private parties must finish by 9pm, and the premises cleaned and vacated by 10pm.

Facilities

The Centre has off-street parking available to the rear of the building, and an integrated sound and PA system, and free wi-fi. We have a television screen for showing videos and photos etc but it is not available for receiving broadcast or streamed programmes, as we do not have a TV licence.
